Albert House is the original main house for the oldest stables in Newmarket town centre, previously owned by Two Thousand Guineas winner.
It has been substantially updated and now offers a central base for a racing break,or any other visit to this historic market town We have four rooms available, all with tv,tea and coffee facilities and free wireless broadband access. We offercomfortable accommodation for single, double, or family groups. Prices include continental breakfast available from 7.30am-9.30am. Full English breakfast can be found just across the road at the Clocktower Cafe. It opens from 6am-2pm and offers a friendly atmosphere and a chance to talk racing with the stud workers and jockeys alike . Albert House is within walking distance of every thing in Newmarket be it the famous gallops(3 minutes)where the race horses go for there morning exercise, racing museum(5 minutes)giving a full history of horse racing ,tourist information(5 minutes)previously king Charles I racing home, shared with him by Nell Gwen on his racing trips from London.
