Snow forces Cambridgeshire schools and colleges to close

The big freeze has forced Cambridgeshire schools to close.

Staff at Long Road Sixth Form College made the decision to not to open today because the grounds were unsafe.

What do you think? Should all schools be open despite the weather? Post a comment at the bottom of this article.

A statement on the college’s website said: “On Monday 6th February, the College will be closed. The amount of snow which has fallen and drifted  means that the College grounds are unsafe for staff and students.”
