Cambridgeshire drop-in sessions for the disabled, elderly and carers announced

A series of drop-in sessions are being held across Cambridgeshire for adults living with a long-term illness or disability, older people struggling with an age-related condition and carers.

Adult Social Care Staff from Disability Services and the Carers Support Team at Cambridgeshire County Council will run the advice and information events in Cambridge, Huntingdon, Ely, Ramsey and Sawston.

Each session will have a speaker, an opportunity to book a one-to-one advice session or carers’ assessment, and chance to talk in confidence to staff members.

Huntingdon Library will host events on July 2, August 6 and September 3, while Sawston Free Church will be the venue on July 15, August 19 and September 16, and Ely Library on July 17, August 20 and September 18.

Elsewhere, Ramsey Library will host on July 22, August 26 and September 23, and Cambridge Central Library will host on August 27 and October 29.
