Haverhill is an industrial market town in the county of Suffolk, England, next to the borders with Essex and Cambridgeshire. It lies approximately eighteen miles southeast of Cambridge and sixty miles north of London. It is the second town of the borough of St Edmundsbury, and has a population of around 22,000. The accommodation in Haverhill is generally of a very good standard. There are a number of fantastic B&B’s and guesthouses that represent the historic character of the town. If it’s character you are after, and you need to be in the town centre we would recommend the Woodlands Hotel and Restaurant. Set in 5 acres of woodland and opposite Haverhill Golf course this fabulous hotel offers all the comforts you would expect with 12 en suite bedrooms and conference facilities. If you are visiting on business, or don’t mind staying outside of the town itself you will find that the Day’s Inn Haverhill offers extremely good value for money. This is one of the newer properties of this popular chain and offers all the comforts of a top quality hotel, along with the convenience of easy access to the major tourist routes. Overall the accommodation in Haverhill is very good so it’s just a case of deciding on where you need to be and how much you are willing to pay.
