Shopping in Cambridge
There are so many attractions in and around the city that many visitors don’t consider taking some time out and spending the day shopping in Cambridge.
In the Lion Yard and Grafton centre shopping centres you will find all the usual High St names bidding for your business. They are great places to go if you are looking for places like BHS, HMV and travel agenst to change your cash.
The chances are however, that you will more than likely that you will want to leave these places to the locals and explore the alleyways to the West of the city centre. Down here you will find such delights as Fitzbillies cake shop and the fantastic Fudge Kitchen where you can watch the fudge being made, and best of all try a sample!
If you are budget shopping in Cambridge you can do no wrong by visiting the market in Market Square. Here you will find a whole range of goods from exotic pastries to music Cd’s. In the Summer the market square is buzzing with atmosphere and is a great place just to hang out and watch the world go by.
