Restaurants in Cambridge

Being a multiethnic city, Cambridge boasts restaurants and cuisine from all over the world. Italian migrants have made Cambridge their home in the last few years, and quite a number of them decided to bring their culinary expertise. The result is a large amount of top class eateries have opened, with the people of Cambridge embracing this quality. Naturally, with so many students pervading the streets of Cambridge, it made perfect sense for restaurants to offer special deals, which of course has also benefited the entire population of the city.

If you are a fan of fast food takeaway restaurants, or family diners, then Regent Street is the place for you. Pizza Hut and Pizza Express lead the way, and are joined by other established chains. The ever popular Chinese restaurant can be seen in abundance here also, as can its Indian counterpart. For those who like the pub atmosphere whilst dining, then this area caters for you too.

For those who prefer the Bistro experience, Bridge Street, in close proximity to the River Cam; is where they should settle. This area is renowned for more upmarket cuisine, and, while it may cost a little more, you are certain to get your money’s worth from top restaurants like Chez Gerard and La Tapas.

For an example of a student establishment, the Curry Queen near Mill Road is a good place to start. This is the place to go for an inexpensive curry and beverage.
