Description
Visit the Mai Thai restaurant and witness a warm, contemporary Cambridge location; a calm, minimalist yet welcoming design of white tiled floors and white-washed walls is expertly accented with plants and potted palms and colourful lighting in the Mai Thai trademark orchid pink. Sixty seats, set around glass-topped tables, each decorated with an orchid, offer comfortable and stylish dining for couples and groups. In warm weather why not dine outside on the green, taking in the views of Cambridges most famous park, while enjoying the restaurants authentic Thai food and wine. An elegant bar with modern back-lighted displays offers a broad range of over 45 selected wines, from Europe, Thailand and the New World. The restaurant location is steeped in history. The restaurant overlooks Parkers Piece, where in 1838, 15,000 people dined al fresco to celebrate Queen Victorias coronation. Once a cricket pavilion in the 1930s, the building later became home to a run of eating establishment including a creperie, before becoming the Mai Thai.
Mai Thai Takeaway Dont have time to eat in? The Mai Thai also offer a fine range of Thai food to take away.
